My 2001 Chevrolet Impala 9C1 Police Package

This was the last police car I owned. I purchased a 2001 Impala from an EBAY auction that was formerly used by the Pekin, Illinois Police Department, their unit 01-1. I installed some nice mods to it including a complete interior changeout to leather, new dash (the cluster shown was the conversion to the 2001 Monte Carlo SS cluster, it was plug & play for the most part!), new 60/40 split rear seat (you wouldn't believe how handy it came in!!), new stereo, new SLP LSX grill. I sold the car off in 2007 to a friend of mine in the Ft. Lauderdale area. The car was fairly good on fuel economy but I went better when gas was inching up, right now I'm driving a Volvo V40 wagon that gets 32 MPG on the highway...
