Hi all; Has anyone ever done a bearing roll insitu. I am contemplating doing this as well as desmogging it. I have 2 (yes 2 Air pumps), with only 230 hp these rob enough power that in the hills (mountains) it can create problems. I'll probably look at a cam swap as well, maybe 350-375 horse. With peanut port heads I can't go too aggressive, what are your thoughts? Rene |

Mine had the air pump removed when i got it. I can't say if it helped, because I never had anything to compare to. Just curious what you have for mufflers? |

Hi Dave Mine has twin dynamax or dynaflow, (I can't remember for sure )mufflers with exhaust just forward of rear axle just past the door. Exiting out the side. These are fed out of Doug Thorley headers. Rene |

Those maybe OK. I think they are conventional mufflers, but have deflectors that direct the flow around the corners, rather than the tube just dumping into a chamber. The Magnaflows are a straight through perforated pipe, so they have very little restriction. Made like the old glasspacks, only they use a stainless steel mesh that doesn't burn out as easily. |
