Hello, everyone. I am the newest newbie, and the proud new owner of a 1977 Revcon 260. I found her 3 weeks ago, and have just succeeded in getting her home this weekend.I had not heard of a Revcon until I stumbled across this one, and almost skipped over her as she has been sitting for 20 years. But now I find myself with her sitting outside my window, waiting for a new life. Looking forward to interesting times!

I've heard it said "May your life be interesting" is an ancient curse. Welcome aboard.

Prior FMCA Revconeers Member, was very sorry to see it's demise. For 0ver 13 years we have had our 1971 Revcon #71-0004 which is completely restored. Love it.

Right now we're looking for an original entry door window and I'm guessing that the best place to find one will be the Revcon Forums!

Hope to see other Revcon aficionados again some time. We live in Wildomar, SoCal.

CHEERS!

Thom and Kathy

Hi Thom! Glad to have you on-board. We never did resolve the question on what happened to Marty Moore's stock of stuff after he passed, there may be a few members here that might have a turn-on for parts but there is always the option of Copart or an RV salvage yard. Craigslist is also a good resource for older coach parts, national-level searches are available easily anymore and sometimes return interesting results.

I'm almost of the mindset anymore that a parts coach is becoming more and more essential in order to keep your primary coach running....

Thanks
Eric

Thanks, Eric. Yeah, it would be great to track down Marty's inventory.
I bought several hard to get things from him and was there a bunch
of times. I can't imagine someone would just throw out all that
'unique - to - Revcon' stuff. No ide where to start though.
Cheers.

One other place to look, try Coach Glass for that side window. They have the later model Slant nose glass in stock, it's always possible that they would have glass for your series coach stocked as well. Never hurts to try, lol!

Thanks,
Eric

Thanks for the contact, Eric. I'll call them. The problem as I see it is that I'm looking for a whole window assy. I keep thinking a wrecked Revcon, though a sad situation, may be my very best bet. I'll post here was the search goes on.

Eric (and anyone looking for Revcon windows), I THINK I found a company that has a very similar extrusion. It's called
Peninsula Glass, located in Vancouver, WA. The style that seems to be very close is the 'Elite' series.
I should have my new (door) window by end of Jan and will get back to the group then.

Well, I got the window and put it in today. It is as OEM looking as any Revcon window!
Company is Peninsula Glass, Vancouver WA.

CHEERS!

Sorry about that. Not sure why that is happening. We're not censoring anyone, which seems to be rather popular these days.
