Yes, Eric, rear discs make an unbelievable difference in stopping confidence. Much faster reaction time, and much better controlled actuation. Just make sure you throw away the proportioning valve. The balance will be about right hooked up direct.
James, Welcome aboard. Sounds like you've done all the typical repairs for an aged coach. I was a little curious about replacing the right side carrier bearing. I'm assuming you mean inside the differential. Normally its not the bearing that wears so much, but the actual flange on the end of the carrier. All that stuff flexes so much under load, which causes it to wear. There are good ways to stabilize the flex, which we believe will dramatically improve the life of the diff.
