I ordered 12 bolts from golbymotorcorp.com last week. Additional information: "They claim the bolts are 1 time use. They stretch and do not hold torque.
So new bolts should solve the problem but I still always add blue locktite on them. Some people re-use old bolts with locktite and seem to do ok with that too. Generally a mystery, but that driver side seems to be the common one to come loose, so a visual check occasionally helps."

UPS charged me another EUR 89.67 for customs fees and duties. Unbelieveable expensive, isn' t? I usually don' t use UPS for my U.S. imports very often.

The bolts fit, but the threads inside look used. My mechanic will have to check this out when our Revcon is back in Germany. However, our Revcon is back on the streets!

"I am looking at that final drive cover picture. It is not an OEM stamped steel drive cover. It is a cast aluminum cover, probably made by Ragusa, and it has a drain plug that OEM ones do not have. I have never seen one before, but I believe that drain plug has a soft copper washer on it as a seal. I am wondering if the copper washer is missing or leaking. You might send Ragusa a note or call them and ask for a replacement washer. Ask Ragusa to put that washer in an envelope and send it as a letter using US mail. That will save you all of the customs problems and expense.

Change or install the washer and lightly tighten all of the other cover mounting bolts. Then clean everything with a spray cleaner like brake cleaner and watch it for leaks over the next few thousand miles."

By the way...the vibrations haven´t changed. They are still there.

But our Revcon FWD is repaired. Thanks to the GMC Motorhome Forum community! On Thursday we will leave Lower Austria...

On the right hand side you can see the typical European Camper size and this is considered to be "large".

Best greetings,

I wanted to get the new foil trim done before winter time in the first place, but the car wrapping company was too busy.

I found a photo of a 1979 Revcon, which is going to be the template. The style of my Revcon was just the same as this one.

But I want a smaller foil cut, because I think that this will look more elegant. The color should be dark red, like the one we used
for the bottom side of the Revcon. The position of the lettering is going to be the same.

The "arrows" should be smaller too and I don´t want to have them pasted over the generator flap.

Now the deadline for wrapping my Revcon is April/Mai 2023. They need warm weather to get the job done.
