Hello all, I joined years ago but apparently never posted anything and was then deleted off the registration list. So I’m back. I have a 1985 Duke 29 Whale Tail that I picked up back in 2015. It had been sitting for years before I got it and it’s sat ever since. But at least I put it inside out of the weather. I finally have the time to work on it and last week I pulled the entire drivetrain subframe out from under the body. I’ll be upgrading everything on the entire coach. Mark

Hello Mark, your coach looks amazing! Are these big windows on the back? Could you please provide some interior pics? What are the necessary steps for pulling the drivetrain subframe out? Would be very interesting to get a step by step description! I always wanted to know how to do this. It´s great to have another owner around. Matt |

Very nice coach, I've always admired the whale-tails. Welcome (Again!) Thanks Eric |

I have started a thread called “Drivetrain subframe removal” under “Slant-nose renovations”. |
